Defining Intuition

The Anatomy of Gut Instinct

We’re under more stress than ever before as the economic meltdown has affected everybody in some way or another. We are losing jobs at a record clip. Entire industries are becoming extinct overnight.  Families are being forced from their foreclosed homes. Because of these hard realities, relationships with family and friends are suffering and so is our mental, emotional and physical health.

An Easy Explanation of Intuition

As a life coach, I often share this simple analogy about intuition with my clients:
We are all going up the mountain. We can either take the bumpy, rough, winding road, full of obstacles or the smooth, straight road, with pleasant surroundings.

Have you ever said to yourself, “I knew that, I just didn’t listen?” Or felt a feeling in your stomach, a sick feeling, that seemed to be telling you, No! That’s gut instinct or intuition. We all learn whether it’s the hard way or the easy way. Listening and trusting your intuition is the easy way.

Tuning into your intuition can provide clear guidance in a confusing, scary time. Listening and following through on your intuition can take the fear out of any situation. As a life coach, I’ve seen miracles and I’ve been inspired by clients who have overcome horrific life challenges by tapping into their intuition.
