Traits of Psychics

I was glancing at the book Your Sixth Sense by Belleruth Naparstek the other day and came across this interesting information. She interviewed 43 extremely psychic people with solid reputations and a good public track record. Many shared the same health issues, family dynamic and talents.

Typical Characteristics of the Intuitives she Interviewed were:

  • A woman in her mid-40s
  • Parent or grandparent who displayed psychic abilities
  • Some degree of two-handedness or two sidedness
  • Being an only child
  • Some talent and experience in the arts (music, dance, art, theater, writing, poetry, design, and so on)
  • Tendency to be a little dyslexic or else an exceptional student
  • Practices meditation
  • Needs time for solitude
  • Spends time in nature on a regular basis
  • Has phases of temporary endocrine system dysfunction (thyroid gland or adrenals)
  • Tendency to be a night owl or sleep very little
  • Wakes often at night, excluding reasons of aging or menopause

Of course, there were some who had none of these characteristics. So if you come up short, you still could be very psychic.

I have seven of these, how many do you have?

A Weekly Allowance: Why EVERYONE Needs One

When I was a kid, my folks gave me a weekly allowance. I had to make choices and save for what I really wanted.  But when I turned 18, I decided that a weekly allowance was kid stuff and I didn’t need it any longer.  I was a grown up now and ready for what I thought was financial freedom. What a mistake! After years of constant financial troubles handling things the grown up way, I finally figured out weekly allowances aren’t just for kids.

Here’s what I NOW know about weekly allowances:

Why EVERYONE Needs a Weekly Allowance:

  1. Let’s us know exactly how much money is going out.
  2. Breaks the mindless habit of using ATMs & Debit Cards.
  3. Makes us think long term instead of getting a quick fix.
  4. Teaches us and our kids how to manage money.
  5. For couples, it keeps both equal so that one is not spending more than the other.
  6. Makes budgeting so much easier and more accurate by not having to track the little purchases.
  7. Saves a lot of money.
  8. Helps us achieve our dreams.

Most of us are now in the process of learning how to manage money the hard way like I did. Don’t waste anymore time! Get EVERYONE in your household on a weekly allowance.

12 Excuses to NOT Contact Potential Clients

It’s easy to let ourselves either get caught up in the drama of the day or slide into our comfort zones and stay there. When you think about it, it’s not difficult to find reasons NOT to pick up the phone or go to a networking event and find new customers. Have you already thought of any of these excuses?

Here’s 12 Excuses to NOT Contact Potential Clients…

  • Because of the poor economy, no one is BUYING much of anything.
  • No one has the MONEY right now.
  • I don’t have my MARKETING MATERIAL the way I want it. The first impression means everything.
  • I don’t have TIME. There are not enough hours in the day to get done everything I need to and this is no exception.
  • I don’t want to BOTHER them.
  • I don’t know HOW, especially with social media like LinkedIn.
  • I need more TRAINING first.
  • I’m afraid I won’t be able to handle the EXTRA BUSINESS.
  • I’m not feeling WELL.
  • I’m afraid they will ASK questions I don’t know the answer to.
  • My top PRIORITY is my current customers.
  • I’m not TALENTED at sales and don’t LIKE doing it either.

There are two ways to run a business. Either we can have “excuses why not” or we can “get results.” It’s just that simple.
